The SPCA is the employment agreement that sets out the conditions of employment, salary rates and rights and entitlements for NZSPC principal members in secondary schools, including composite (year 7-13) schools, junior and senior high schools and integrated schools.

9.1 Resignation
9.1.1 The principal's employment may be terminated at any time by the principal giving to the board not less than two months written notice, unless a shorter time is mutually agreed.
