PPTA invites nominations for the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Advisory Committee from members in the regions encompassing Auckland south of Harbour Bridge and Counties-Manukau (Area 2).
The selection of members will be made by the President, General Secretary and the Executive members of the committee.

(September 2013) Results of the Ngā Manu Kōrero 2013 national secondary school speech contests. Hosted by the Tainui Teachers Committee, at the Mystery Creek Events Centre Hamilton, on Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 September 2013.
(14 March 2013) The national secondary speech contests are now entering their 48th year and the national
finals this year will be hosted by the Tainui Teachers Committee, at the Mystery Creek Events Centre, Gate 2, 125 Mystery Creek Road, Hamilton on Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 September 2013.
The contests are intended to encourage the development of skills and confidence of MÃ¤ori students in spoken English and MÃ¤ori. NZ PPTA cordially extend an invitation to all secondary schools to participate in this important annual event, noting that the MÃ¤ori section is open to all students, but the English section is confined to MÃ¤ori students only.
