The New Zealand Post Primary Teachers' Association / Te Wehengarua (PPTA) is the voice of the post-primary teaching profession.  For more than 50 years PPTA members have worked in schools and nationally to  ensure all young people in New Zealand have equitable access to good quality state education.

Trainee teachers are entitled to free membership of the PPTA.
