| Description | (April 2009) I chose this unit for a few reasons. It is heavy in critical thinking and combines close reading of media language – symbols, codes etc with readings from societal contexts. Also because it is a director study, that works with the students. It feels a safe place to start to rework. I enjoy teaching Jeunet because he provides a clear and identifiable visual style that challenges and also entertains the students.
