(25 May 2011) Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement Terms of Settlement (for ratification) 23 May 2011
(24 May 2011) Details of Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement settlement information. Includes a new ASTCA pay scale for teachers in area schools introduced from 31 May 2011. This scale includes 2.75% (primary scale) increases on most rates, slightly less (secondary scale rates) on steps 11 and 12, and increased rates ( secondary scale) on steps 7, 8 and 9 (3%) and step14 (2.93%).
(March 2010) This year looks to be one of serious professional and industrial challenge for members of both NZEI and PPTA in area schools. This newsletter reminds you about some of the issues and discusses some of the challenges for 2010.Firstly, a reminder of some of the new provisions obtained in the last Collective Agreement round including units, sabbatical leave and study grants.
(August 2009) Area school paid union meetings September 2009. On 15 June the combined NZEI and PPTA Area Schools Advisory Committee (ASAC) met to discuss the claims development process for next year’s Area School Teachers Collective Agreement (ASTCA) negotiations.
