Field Office Manager (Union Administrator) Vacancy Hamilton office
An office manager position has become available in the Hamilton field office of the New Zealand Post Primary Teachers’ Association Te Wehengarua. The vacancy is a permanent part time position for 25 hours per week, during the secondary school term – we are open to discussion on hours. A starting date will be determined by mutual agreement.
PPTA office managers are primarily responsible for the efficient operation of the local field office and facilitating the delivery of membership services locally and providing remote support to field offices in other New Zealand locations as required.
Applicants must have sound Microsoft office skills. Attention to detail, good planning and organisation skills will be highly valued, together with an ability to deal with a variety of people with tact and diplomacy. A strong customer focus and communication skills are important for this role.
The appointee will be part of a small, very mobile local team, so must possess the ability to manage an office with varied duties and, be comfortable in sole charge from time to time.
