Committee role

The PPTA Te Wehengarua Senior Positions Advisory Committee meets up to three times a year.
Members of the committee are elected on an area basis to monitor and advise on the conditions of employment of senior staff in schools.

The Committee:
•    considers issues that members who are in senior leadership positions (APs and DPs) have brought to its attention;
•    prepares advice for senior leaders;
•    prepares advice for the PPTA Executive;
•    develops annual conference papers on issues that affect APs and DPs;
•    makes submissions on behalf of PPTA members who are senior leaders.
