Subject Association Forum 2020 (cancelled)
Update March 31, 2020: Forum cancelled
Because April 20-21 will now be term time, we unfortunately have had to make the decision to cancel all versions of the Subject Association Forum for 2020.
However, we are in ongoing discussions with the Ministry of Education and NZQA about the impact of COVID-19 on NCEA - the 2020 situation as well as the NCEA Review work.
If you are a member of a subject association, you should have an email from us (sent yesterday, March 30) about a Zoom meeting being held today (March 31) at 2pm.
If you didn't receive the email, check you junk folder. Ifd it not there, please get in touch with Adele Scott, Advisory Officer Professional Issues at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following:
1. the name of your association
2. the name, role and email of the representative of your subject association who can make this meeting
She will then forward you the Zoom link.
Update March 18, 2020: Forum will only be held online
Kia ora koutou,
Many thanks to those of you who have already indicated you would be attending this year’s subject association conference in Wellington over April 20-21.
This message is to let you know that we will not be continuing with the face-to-face version but are looking at holding a virtual meeting over the course of one of those days.
Final details are yet to be confirmed but we are hoping to have a combination of presentations either live, or that you can download, about topics relevant to you. We will also have scheduled times during the day for group discussion so keep both days free.
We will be in touch in the next week with firmed up information.
