Subject Association Grants pre-approval form

Apply for preapproval

Before applying for a grant, you will need to be preapproved, so we can confirm eligibility requirements. You may apply for preapproval at any time. Once approved, you will be able to claim reimbursement after your conference or course has concluded. Please see the FAQs for more information.

The purpose of this fund is to support kaiako to attend subject-specific courses provided by subject associations. We will be able to assist peer-to-peer network events on a case by case basis.

If the organiser of the event you are planning to attend is not on the list of approved subject associations, and you believe it should be, you are welcome to email us on pld@ppta.org.nz. We cannot guarantee your grant will be approved, but we will look into it.

If your event is not run by a subject association and you need financial support, we recommend contacting your Branch Chair, who will be best placed to advise regarding the availability of funding from your kura or PPTA branch.
