Nominations are called for positions on PPTA Te Wehengarua's Middle Leadership Advisory Committee, which provides advice to the Executive on matters affecting those in middle leaders' positions in secondary and area schools.

Middle leadership refers to curriculum leadership or pastoral care leadership: heads of department, deans, teachers-in-charge and guidance leaders.  

• Area 1: Upper, Central and Lower Northland, 
• Area 4: Counties-Manukau, Hauraki Coromandel 
• Area 8: Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui,
• Area 10: Otago, Southland
