Webinar: Overseas Trained Teachers, Enrol to Vote!

Are you an overseas-trained teacher living in NZ on a resident visa? For electoral purposes, if you’re in New Zealand on a visa that doesn’t require to leave within a specific time, and you have lived in New Zealand continuously for at least 12 months, you can register to vote!

This year is election year, and we want to make sure that as many of our colleagues and students are enrolled to vote and able to make their voice heard come election day. This webinar is aimed at understanding who can vote in NZ, how to enrol, and how you can spread the word!

This webinar will be hosted via Zoom and will be recorded and available ‘on-demand’. So if you can’t make it but want to watch the recording, register anyway. All PPTA members are welcome to attend, whether you are an overseas-trained teacher or just curious to learn more!
