
Women in Educational Leadership Programme

The Pūtea Whakawhanake Pouako | PPTA Learning and Development Centre in partnership with Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington is proud to deliver a course to develop the capability of aspiring women leaders working in secondary school settings.
Starting on 28 April we are delivering a FREE pilot programme: Women in Educational Leadership: A programme to develop the capability of aspiring women leaders working in secondary school settings.
This programme is for wāhine in, or aspiring to, middle leadership roles wanting to explore more about themselves and their own leadership style; the challenges specifically impacting wāhine in these roles; and, how to become an authentic leader that reflects their own values.

Programme overview
This programme is for wāhine in, or aspiring to, middle leadership roles who want to explore more about themselves and their own leadership style; the challenges specifically impacting women in these roles; and, how to become an authentic leader that reflects their own values.
Programme format
This programme will be delivered over 10 weeks and include:
- One face-to-face workshop
- Three 1.5 hour webinars (after school from 4.00-5.30pm)
- An online learning portal with a range of supporting resources and reflection tools
